The Christ Lutheran Church Quilters

The Christ Lutheran Church Quilters are a group of dedicated women who meet the first and third Mondays of the month throughout the year except in the summer.  In the summer, meetings are announced.

The Quilters exist to provide quilts for world relief (please see Lutheran World Relief at http://www.lwr.org/) ; to provide quilts for fund raisers for our church and the Bible Camp we support, Camp Wappogasset; to provide quilts for community needs; to provide art work for our church and to provide fellowship.  The group is open to all ages and all denominations.  All you need to be able to do is to tie a knot or to machine sew!

The Quilters make between fifty to one hundred quilts per year.  We have hade many ongoing projects for many years.  We've been blessed with donations to keep our projects going.

The Quilters are constantly in need of supplies.  We will take:

• your unwanted clean bedding
• blankets, mattress pads, bed spreads (these are for the innards of the quilts)
• sheets (these are for the backs of the quilts)
• larger fabric pieces (these are for the tops or the backs of the quilts)
• yarn (for tying)
